How to get there: the nearest airport is Munich Franz Josef Strauß Airport (MUC). There are two interurban lines (S1 and S8) from the airport to Munich central station
By train: From the Munich central station take interurban train S6 (sublevel) to final stop Tutzing; alternatively, take regional train in the direction of Garmisch or Kochel. Walk from Tutzing train station to the Akademie: 10 minutes. Timetables for interurban trains (S-Bahn) or regional trains:

By car: get on the Autobahn A 95 in Munich and travel in the direction of Garmisch until the Starnberg turnoff , then follow B2 to Traubing and take the left turnoff towards Tutzing.
Registration fee
The registration fee is € 325. It includes access to all scientific sessions, coffee and other soft drinks at breaks as well as all meals ( breakfast, lunch and dinner) starting with a dinner on day 1 and ending with lunch on day 4.
Drinks at meals and at the bar must be paid by participants and can be included in the room bill.
Please note that IUPS can support some early career participants with travel awards . 20 "European awards" à €200 and 10 awards "from other parts of the world" à € 500. You can apply for a travel award on the registration form. To be eligible for a travel award, registration must be by Sept. 30th the latest and an abstract (400 words) must be submitted to iupsmanager@iups.org at the time of registration

Terms and conditions
When registering for the beacon meeting, the following terms and conditions are accepted and bindingly apply.
All attendees shall behave professionally, respectful of others, and bullying, harassment or other forms of misconduct will not be tolerated
Payment Methods
Payment of registration fee can be made by credit card or by bank transfer. Payment by credit card can be done during the online registration process. No credit card fee will be charged. You will get a confirmation of registration and payment afterwards via e-mail. For paying by bank transfer, you will receive an invoice including all payment details via e-mail. All bank charges have to be covered by the delegate.
Cancellation Policy
For all cancellations received until 30 September 2024, a cancellation fee of 50% of the registration fee applies. After this date, no refunds will be made for any cancellations, and accordingly the demand for full payment of the registration fees remains. Any changes of the registration and all cancellations must be communicated to the K.I.T. Group Dresden in writing only.
K.I.T. Group GmbH Dresden collects the registration fees on behalf of IUPS. Please inform us about any changes and cancellations in writing only.
