DESCRIPTION:IUPS 2025 is on the starting  blocks!
The 40th IUPS congress  which is held in partnership with Europhysiology , takes place in Frankfurt, Germany. Right in the heart of Europe, about 1500 physiologists from all continents will come together and present their latest research. Thus, it is a  true world congress, showcasing international physiology as a broad science with fundamental impact on public health, highlighting, among others, adaptation strategies to climate change and our understanding of homeostasis.

The programme  committee formed by IUPS and  Europhysiology has put a truly international and highly attractive programme again reflecting the broad scope of current physiology. The programme comprises two plenary lectures given by Nobel laureates, 6 special and 24 keynote lectures with speakers from all around the globe as well as 24 symposia. National societies were closely involved by IUPS as proponents of potential speakers and topics for the meeting.
