The general assembly of IUPS has elected a new  President, Professor Susan Wray from UK who succeeds Professor Julie  Chan who has served two very successful terms as President and Vice President. We thank Julie so much for her excellent work and her dedication to global physiology!

Professor Wray’s research has focused on smooth muscle physiology, especially of uterine smooth muscle and has  introduced new  concepts to our understanding of labour.   She has already served as Vice President of IUPS as well as President of FEPS. Congratulatio
