Physiology in Focus 2026

September 16 – 19, 2026

University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf (UKE), Hamburg, Germany

Physiology in Focus 2026 is a joint meeting of the  DPG and SPS and  will be held at the University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf (UKE) in Hamburg, September 16th – 19th. The pre-meetings of the special interest groups, as well as the pre-meeting of the young physiologists will take place on the 16th, with the main meeting running from the morning of Thursday 17th till Saturday 19th early afternoon.

In addition to symposia, keynotes, abstract presentations and award lectures, the meeting will feature several innovations. There will be an emphasis on translation. Moreover, a dedicated educational track, comprising teaching modules and interactive workshops, will further enhance the congress programme and actively contribute to the flow of education. We hope that with this expansion, the meeting will also become a valuable resource for physiologists primarily concerned with teaching. Please, inform any colleagues who may find this information useful and check out the web page on the programme!
