4th international congress of African physiologists

The challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, led the “African Society of Physiology and Pathophysiology” to reimagine its approach to Congress delivery, to host their Fourth International Congress in April, 2021. They made use of the video-conferencing platform ‘Zoom’ to safely engage with a worldwide audience around the theme “Physiology and physiopathology in the issue of health in Africa”.
The meeting covered a broad range of topics. 8 distinguished scientists from Africa and Europe held plenary lectures and nearly 80 oral communications and e-posters were presented.
The congress was a great success with >100 registrants including teachers, researchers, doctors, therapists and students.
